The McHandsomes Origin

   The McHandsomes are a musical/comedic duo comprised of fan favorite, Nevin Mathew and the other guy, David Risner.  The McHandsomes have infused acoustic rock and stand up comedy to shed a new light on the ever budding music/comedy duo scene.  Hailing from a small town in Indiana, The McHandsomes have brought their small town values to the greater Los Angeles area to spread the good word; that they are THE BEST.

   The McHandsomes have been featured on such radio shows as "The Weaze Show" on 95.1 The Fox and American Rock Exchange on Indie 104.  They have also made an appearance on the television hit show "Last Comic Standing" and a made a big impression as the only duo on the western reality show "The Heart of Western Music."

   They have become mainstays on the music scene in the South Bay of Los Angeles, being featured at the historic Lighthouse Cafe, as well as spots at Pedone's, The Tavern on Main, Hennessy's, HT Grill, Texas Loosey's, Sisters Barn and private parties in the South Bay.  They even get out of the bubble and have had successful showings at The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, The Pig N' Whistle, The Rainbow Bar and Grill.  The McHandsomes have also taken their show on the road, heading to northern California to play at the legenary Fillmore Auditorium and stopping by the campus of California State University of Long Beach to rock the raucuos crowd at The Nugget.  Be it bar, or a full fledged music venue, The McHandsomes continue to gain praise and fans with their "no holds barred" style of musical and comedic flavor.
